Weebalon Two planets, three kinds of people, one very large problem.

Two planets, Edin and Ioto, drift a little closer every eon. Edin is dry, dangerous and short on magic, so Humankind built walls, trains and sixty-foot mech suits to survive it. Ioto is drowning in magic, and Elvenkind live a thousand feet up in the trees and let the forest do most of the work.

What separates the three kinds of people here is how they die. Humankind get one life, about a hundred years, and spend it trying to be remembered. Elvenkind live centuries and then choose the moment to let go, waking up as somebody's baby with no memory of who they were. Immortals — Automata, Sylvan, Angels, Devils — can't die at all, which sounds great until you've done it for six thousand years.

None of them are at war. The monsters use up all the available hostility. Perganum and Oshi are the two biggest melting pots in either world, and everybody in them has an opinion about everybody else's funeral.

Weebalon High A comedy. Nobody's a hero yet. Almost nobody dies.

The high school game is a comedy about teenagers who are nowhere near ready. The rules take ten minutes to learn: say what you're doing, roll one die, find out how badly it went. Roll the highest number on that die and it explodes — roll again, add it, keep going as long as you keep hitting the top. A lucky kid can escalate forever, which is exactly the kind of accident that makes a scene funny.

Death is rare and I'm not hunting anybody. Failure costs you something more interesting than your character.

Students take intro classes in everything: magic, monsters, arcane machinery, beast handling, history. All of it survey level, all of it aimed at getting into Weebalon University without embarrassing yourself. Now casting →

Weebalon University The hard one. You're training to be a Chosen One before the world ends.

The university game is bigger, anime-shaped, and runs on whichever system fits the table: D&D 5e, Daggerheart, or Warhammer if you want it grim. Tone follows the group the same way. It can be a comedy, a romance, a slice of life about roommates, or a dystopia, and a long campaign usually turns into several of those.

This is the Final Eon. Edin and Ioto are closer than they have been in 359,000 years, the wall between worlds is thinning, and the last time that happened almost nothing survived. Chosen Ones are the people trained to meet it. You are applying to be one.

Progress is school. You test in at level zero and pick a class. Levels one through four run in Perganum and end with the Adventurer's Exam. Levels five through ten run on Ioto. By ten you have signature moves, a reputation, and a name people say out loud.
